Product Suggestion: Vent controls without Covers
I have wood matching covers for all my vents. I'm not keen on putting white vents in to replace my wood ones. My product suggestion is to just sell the operating part of the smart vent so that I can attach my own vent covers that will still match my decor.
PS I searched through "Contact Us" and I could find no way to submit a product suggestion.

Hi Anthony,
Smart Vents faceplates are powder coated and can be painted any color you like. The faceplate can easily be taken off, painted, and set back onto the unit.

We have also had other customers remove the Smart Vent covers and use their own vent covers. If you go this route, we'd be interested in knowing what you did!
Also, please note that the Smart Vent covers augment the reception for the RF antenna inside the Smart Vent, so if you remove the covers, you may need additional Gateway Pucks.
