I guess 8x10 vents aren't going to happen?

I found several unanswered posts from like 3 years ago asking about 8x10 vents, that wasn't very encouraging...

Am I to assume that if it hasn't happened by now it isn't going to happen?

    seriously, I have two 8x12 vents just waiting to be replaced. I did all the other ones already but Flair just ain't making the sizes I'm missing.

    At this point they might as well have done what Keen Smart Vents did and just make an oversized adapter which allows one of their larger smart vents to work with an adapter and thus support more sizes.

    I went with flair but the lack of support is making me wonder if I should have gone with Keen

    I think Flair hates 8" vents.  For some reason.  Lol.  I don't get it.  They have the 4's, the 6's, but not the 8's.  That pretty much covers most residential sizes.  They're almost there.

    I get the feeling they're not really investing in their hardware anymore. Nothing has changed hardware wise since 2019. A little software changes here and there but in a sense, they're just collecting money but no more R&D or development.

    Even their blog hasn't been updated in a year

    Well this thread doesn't make me feel confident about the $500 purchase I just made.  I didn't realize everything was dying on the vine. :/

    I was about to pull the trigger on a bunch of pucks and existing vent offerings but the 8" sizes are very common and would make a system complete.  Not sure why they are balking.  I am hesitating.

    Having bought 6 flair vents myself July 2019 now, based on the "hope" that they would make more sizes since I have 5 vents they don't make vents for, I've given up and suggest that if you need those sizes, then to look else where.

    I just bought a dual fan and attach to the vent, work well for a single room. Abandon the thought for 8x10 booster fans!

    This is definitely frustrating to hear. Since these are not available we decided to make a trim to that allows their other sizes to fit vents - especially in Texas.

    As the owner and operator of a 3D printing business, we have engineered trim kits. Our standard kit fits the 6x12 Flair smart vents but we can accommodate any of their models and all the vent’s provided hardware.  It is made of a tough material that will withstand harsh indoor or outdoor environments.
