The following process is recommended for Pros who are installing Flair products in a customer's home. This will ensure the homeowner is the Admin of the home when setup is complete and allow the Pro to retain access as desired so they can quickly look at a Flair home without having to drive out to the customer's site.
- The contractor should create a Flair account for the homeowner using the homeowner's email address and a temporary, easy-to-remember password
- The contractor should complete the setup and testing of the equipment.
- Once setup is complete and tested, if the contractor would like to maintain access to view the home and remotely diagnose issues that are reported, they can send an invite to the email address they wish to use.
- Once the invite has been sent, the homeowner can change the password
- The contractor should receive the invite at that email address within 30 minutes. Once they accept the invite, they will have the stated access to that Flair home.
