Away Settings is located in Home Settings->Away Settings. This option will be disabled if Home/Away Mode is set to Thermostat.
Away Settings describe how Flair behaves when you're not home (i.e., when Flair is set to Away). It will also define how IR-controlled devices operate when the room they are assigned to is set to Inactive.
Smart Away
For mini splits and other IR-controlled devices, when your home is set to Away or the room they are assigned to is set to Inactive, Flair will keep the room temperature between the Away Temperature Minimum and Maximum.
For central systems, when your home is set to Away if Set Point Controller is "Flair App", Flair will use the Away Temperature Minimum and Away Temperature Maximum to control the home temperature. When heating, Flair will not let rooms get colder than the Away Temperature Minimum. When cooling, Flair will not let rooms get warmer than the Away Temperature Maximum.
For central systems, when your home is set to Away, if Set Point Controller is Thermostat, Flair uses your smart thermostat Away values to control the home temperature.
Note: The Away Temperatures Minimum and Maximum are used specifically when the Flair home is set to Away. These are not to be confused with heat to and cool to set points. Please ensure these temperatures are sufficiently spread apart.
Off Only
For mini splits and other IR-controlled devices, when your home is set to Away or the room they are assigned to is set to Inactive, Flair will turn off the device.
For central systems, when your home is set to Away, if Set Point Controller is "Flair App", Smart Vents will stay in their current positions and your smart thermostat-controlled system will not actively heat or cool. If Set Point Controller is set to Thermostat, Flair will use your smart thermostat Away values to control the home temperature for Smart Vent operation.
