Prior to calibrating a Puck, please read this article:
Why is the Temperature on the Puck Different than the Flair App?
The best way to verify accurate room temperature is by comparing the Puck temperature with at least two separate temperature reading devices. If you're only comparing the Puck temperature with one temperature reading device, it's hard to say which one is accurate.
To calibrate a Puck:
- Get an accurate reading of the room temperature at the location of the Puck
- Get the offset by subtracting the Puck's temperature from the actual room temperature
- In the Flair app, go to Home Settings->Flair Devices, expand the Puck, and adjust the Temperature Calibration Offset using the offset
- Allow up to 30 minutes for the calibration to take effect
Calibration Range
Gateway Puck temperature readings can be calibrated up 8°F or down 18°F
Sensor Puck temperature readings can be calibrated up 4°F or down 18°F.
