Mode is located in the Control Bar, at the top of the Flair app.
Flair's Mode settings are Heat, Cool, Auto Heat/Cool, and Off.
- Heat
- Flair changes mini splits and integrated smart thermostats to Heat mode
- Flair uses set points to operate Smart Vents for heating
- Cool
- Flair changes mini splits and integrated smart thermostats to Cool mode
- Flair uses set points to operate Smart Vents for cooling.
- Auto Heat/Cool
- Flair intelligently switches between heating and cooling
- When not using an integrated smart thermostat, Flair reads duct temperature to know when the system is heating or cooling
- Off
- When Mode is set to Off, rooms will remain Active
- Flair will leave Smart Vents in their last position
- If Set Point Controller is Flair App, Flair will leave Smart Vents in their last position and follow Flair's Smart Away bounds to prevent extreme temperatures in the home
- If Set Point Controller is Thermostat, Flair will leave Smart Vents in their last position and follow your smart thermostat Away bounds - note that your system may not turn off until these Away bounds are satisfied
- Flair will turn off mini splits and follow Flair's Smart Away bounds
- If using Mirror Mode, mini splits will follow your smart thermostat's Away bounds
