I HATE the Nest integration and wonder if i could switch to Ecobee

My issue is about who control who, is the thermostat deciding on temperature and Flair is adjusting to Nest (In my situation) or, is Flair telling Nest to turn on and off. this master and slave setting is important as if i activate the Nest integration it just works like absolute garbage. I am border line running my system manual, the Heat/Cool mode seems useless and i am wondering if I shouldn't switch to ecobee. I have satellite sensor for my Nest on 3 rooms and the temperature NEVER matches what the Pucks indicate and when it heats the difference need constant readjustment (Might be +2 on heat and -2 on cool). Wondering A. what i am missing, B. If Ecobee is flawless as i find Nest to have turned into garbage since Google purchased it.
