How to convert from using pucks as gateways to using a bridge?
What is the process for removing the pucks I use as gateways and installing a bridge instead?
If required, can I install more than one bridge? (I currently use three pucks as gateways and ?I still occasionally get vent offline errors)

For new Flair homes, the Flair Bridge configuration is part of the setup process. For existing Flair homes, a Bridge can be added using the PLUS menu in the Flair App and choosing "Add Flair Bridge". This will start the "Add Flair Bridge" wizard which includes instructions for converting your current Gateway Pucks to Sensor Pucks. We also recommend choosing "Unlink Gateway" from the Puck's Settings menu on each Puck you convert.
A single Bridge should cover up to 4000 square feet. Additional Bridges may be used to increase signal coverage in larger homes or where layout and construction of the home requires it.

I replaced three pucks with one bridge centrally located, vents in some rooms kept going offline, bought a second bridge, fewer vents offline but one vent is almost always offline, just ordered a third bridge.
I did replace batteries of the vents that went offline, no difference, signal related. Strangely though seems that vent orientation and / or age made a difference, two vents in one room, 4 ft apart on different sides of a pocket door, one online, one offline (first purchased vent) even with pocket door open.
So, in my experience I will have replaced three three pucks with three bridges to get (hopefully) reliable signal coverage, in a 3600sqft wood frame two story home, not quite as good as advertised 4000sqft coverage with one bridge.

Just installed a bridge in a 2,000 square foot home and the vent RSSIs are very poor on the 3-4 of the 12 vents that are distant. There were previously 4 pucks serving as gateways. The bridge is centrally located in a closet. If I install a second bridge, how are the vents assigned to each bridge?

A Vent will generally connect to the Bridge it has the strongest signal with, however, the pairing can be random based on the layout and construction of the home.
You might want to try putting the Bridge on its side with the antenna pointing up to the ceiling.
You can also reset the Bridge and add it with a Wish connection and then place it in a more centralized location.
To reset the Bridge insert a paperclip into the reset hole, push once, and release you will know it is reset when it's blinking blue, then tap the plus sign and add it selecting wifi.

Hi Chuck,
Vents may be holding on to an existing connection. You can try to force the Vent to repair by power cycling the Vent.
Hopefully this will work, but please know that it’s difficult to predict how wireless signals travel, so you may need to do some experimentation with the placement of the Bridge.
