There is a small hole on the back of the Bridge next to where the USB-C power cord plugs in. There is a reset button slightly recessed inside this hole. This button is easily accessed with the tip of a pen/pencil or a paperclip. This reset button can accomplish two things:
Tap the Reset Button
If you tap the reset button on a Bridge or Bridge Pro this will clear the WiFi credentials. For a Bridge Pro being used as an end device this will also free it up to join other Flair hub devices (Bridge or Gateway Puck). Tapping the reset button will not affect the firmware on the Bridge or Bridge Pro.
Most of the time a tap of the reset button will be the recommended option.
Press and Hold the Reset Button for > 5 seconds
If you press and hold the reset button for > 5 seconds this will factory reset the Bridge or Bridge Pro. A Factory Reset will
- clear the WiFi credentials
- restore the firmware to the factory-installed version
- for a Bridge Pro used as an end device, this will free up the Bridge Pro to join other Flair Hub devices (Bridge or Gateway Puck).
