Overview
When a room is set to Active or Inactive, the behavior will depend on the current System Mode: Auto or Manual
The screen used to set a Room Active or Inactive differs between the Puck 1 and the Puck 2.
On older Puck 1s, with a firmware version prior to s138.w128, you will not have the option to set rooms Active or Inactive via the Puck. For these Pucks you will need to use the app to acommplish this.
On the Puck 1, you will see a graphic of a person walking out a door, and the text will say "Turn On" or "Turn Off".
On the Puck 2 will see Room ACTIVE or ROOM INACTIVE and below it you will see "Push to set Active/Inactive"
When the System is set to Auto
If the Flair home is in System: Auto, the behavior will be as follows:
For the Puck 1, "Turn On" will set the room that the Puck is in to Active. If there is a mini split in this room, the Mini Split will be powered on.
For the Puck 1, "Turn Off" will set the room that the Puck is in to Inactive. If there is a mini split in this room, the Mini Split will be powered off.
For the Puck 2, if you push to set the room Active, it will set the room that the Puck is in to Active. If there is a mini split in this room, the Mini Split will be powered on.
For the Puck 2, if you push to set the room Inactive, it will set the room that the Puck is in to Inactive. If there is a mini split in this room, the Mini Split will be powered off.
When the System is set to Manual
If the Flair home is in System: Manual the behavior will be as follows:
For the Puck 1, "Turn On" will power on the mini split. If there is no minisplit associated with this Puck, then nothing will happen.
For the Puck 1, "Turn Off" will power off the mini split. If there is no minisplit associated with this Puck, then nothing will happen.
For the Puck 2, if you push to set the room Active, it will power on the mini split. If there is no minisplit associated with this Puck, then nothing will happen.
For the Puck 2, if you push to set the room Inactive, it will power off the mini split. If there is no minisplit associated with this Puck, then nothing will happen.
